Free, for people using Tripp in their own assistant.

Searching needs no account. Saving a trip or a price watch asks the traveler to connect their Tripp account, and the assistant finds the sign-in on its own.

For companies

If your company's own agent or product calls Tripp, use the company address with a key we issue. Apply for one. Pricing is set per partner during early access, and agreed before live keys are issued.

• An MCP key is its own key. It is sent with every request, so it is never also a Partner API signing key.
• Answers are plain JSON: no cards, and nothing tied to a traveler's account.
• Without a valid key the address answers 401.

Agent frameworks that load skills, such as Hermes and OpenClaw, can read our skill file: the address, the headers and the rules on this page, in the form those agents take.

Booking for companies · Sandbox

A full-access MCP key can book, watch prices and read trips for your travelers, on your company's account. Make one on the Keys page of your partner dashboard (tick Full access). Full-access keys point at OEX's test system, never live, until live booking is switched on: no real seat, room or charge, and every booking answer says "sandbox": true. A booking completes once a company card is saved in Billing; until then the booking tools answer honestly and nothing is booked or charged.

X-Tripp-Traveler: <your id for this traveler>

• One traveler per request. X-Tripp-Traveler (or ?traveler= on the address) is your own id for the customer, 1–64 letters, digits, _, . or -. Watches, trips, receipts and preferences belong to that traveler under your company and never cross. Without it the key acts as the company itself.
• Tools added: book_flight, book_stay, cancel_booking, plus price watches (watch_flight_price, watch_stay_price, watch_trip_price, list, update, mute, stop), trips and receipts (list_trips, get_booking_status, get_receipt, get_trip_details, why_we_booked), trip plans, preferences and support. Still plain JSON, still no cards.
• Payment. A booking is charged to the company card you save in Billing on your partner dashboard, held by OEX, Tripp's payment partner. One card per company serves every full-access key. The card form is OEX's own, so the card number never reaches Tripp; we keep OEX's instrument id, the brand, the last four digits and the expiry. One card serves flights and stays. A card saved on the test system is used on the test system only. Until a card is saved, book_flight and book_stay answer payment_not_set_up and nothing is booked or charged. Every booking carries your company reference to OEX as reference_id (your partner id unless you set one on the key's Settings page), and the booking answer and webhook repeat it, so your bookings reconcile per company.
• Spend cap. Each full-access key may book up to a daily amount you set on its Settings page. A booking that would pass it is refused before anything is held, and the answer says so.
• Your travelers hear from you, not from Tripp. Set a webhook address on the key and Tripp posts booking.confirmed, booking.cancelled, booking.schedule_changed and watch.price_dropped there, signed with the key's secret (X-Tripp-Signature = HMAC-SHA256 of <timestamp>.<body>). You text, WhatsApp or email the traveler your own way. Tripp never texts a company's traveler.
• Receipt. Every booking returns one receipt, read from the booking record. By default you send it; a switch on the key has Tripp email the same receipt to the traveler address you passed.
• Support. A switch on the key routes support to Tripp's desk or to your company. Routed to you, the support tools answer that your company handles it and nothing reaches our desk.
• Money answers name their field. A cancel quotes OEX's refund_amount, cancellation_fee, refund_status, refund_to and refunded_by exactly as sent, and says nothing about where a refund went unless refund_to says so.

Tools

Every company key gets search and facts. A full-access key adds booking (sandbox today), price watches, trips, receipts and preferences for your travelers.

• Flights: search, cheapest dates, cheapest week, compare dates, compare nearby airports, is this a normal price, bag fees, status perks.
• Hotels: search, hotel facts, reviews, room details, stay details.
• Getting around: drive or fly, ground transport, directions, weather.
• Things to do: activities and restaurants.

Saving trips, price watches, texts and account settings stay on the travelers' addresses, where the traveler signs in. Booking on the travelers' addresses stays on heytripp.com, where the traveler pays.

Limits

30 requests a minute per key during early access. Tell us if you need more.
