HeyTripp for Claude

Setup and usage · updated September 9, 2026
HeyTripp searches real, bookable flights and hotels and draws them as cards inside your Claude conversation. Every price is the whole-party total, ranked on the all-in cost including bags and fees, and every card carries the same check against the public sites — plainly saying whether HeyTripp's rate beats them, ties, or loses. Booking itself finishes on heytripp.com on your own account. The connector never moves money.

Connecting it

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Find HeyTripp in the directory and choose Connect. (To add it by hand instead, choose Add custom connector and give it https://mcp.heytripp.com/claude/mcp.)
  3. Claude opens a HeyTripp sign-in page. Sign in with Google and approve the connection. HeyTripp receives your email address and nothing else from Claude.
  4. Start a new conversation and ask for a trip.
You do not need a HeyTripp account to search. Flights, hotels, things to do and airport comparisons all answer straight away. Signing in is what lets HeyTripp read your trips, receipts, price watches and saved preferences — those tools answer with a sign-in prompt until you connect.

What it does

GroupWhat you get
SearchFlights and stays priced all-in for the whole party, with the public-price comparison run on the same card. Room detail, hotel facts and reviews, cheapest week, and a nearby-airport comparison scored on fare plus getting there.
Price watchesWatch a flight, a stay, or a whole trip at your number. HeyTripp emails and texts you when a real fare hits it. You can edit, mute, list and stop a watch from the conversation.
On the groundThings to do and places to eat on a numbered map, ground-transport advice, directions, drive-versus-fly, bag fees and status perks.
Your tripsTrips, booking status, receipts, trip detail and why a booking was made — read-only, and every amount is what was paid at booking rather than a price today.
PlansSave a plan, open it, share it by link, and stop sharing it.
PreferencesYour home airport, cabin, star floor and budget band, so a search starts from your usual instead of asking every time.

What it will never do

Your data

From Claude, HeyTripp receives the email address you sign in with, and the search terms you ask for. It does not read your Claude conversations, files, or anything else in your account. What HeyTripp stores about you, how long it keeps it and how to delete it are covered in the Privacy Policy; the Terms of Service govern use of the service.

Disconnecting the connector in Claude ends its access immediately. Deleting your HeyTripp data is done in Settings → Data on heytripp.com, or by writing to us.
